today is such a bellyache!

I used to enjoy saturdays but today did not go so well. Here's a list of the unfortunate things that happened to me:

* Waking up an hour and thirty minutes earlier than my set alarm. I was still sleepy but couldn't go back to sleep because I was freaking thrilled to hear "tainted love" when my phone rang.
* Missing the call 'coz i was pretty much groggy pa.
* Having the thought of another dreadful meeting with sir kalbo haunted me. Hay, bakit ba kasi hindi na lang siya yung nagpa-free cut?
* As always, i arrived before the person i was meeting so i had to stand there, probably looking a little lost, enduring all the burning stares of people passing by. Pakialamero talaga ang mga Pinoy..
* Having to go through a very disoriented card catalog. Plus, the antique smell from all those prehistoric books that gave babes and i dirty hands and a nose to scratch. Haha!
* Coming late to our Econ class [technically, it is supposed to be a bad thing but honestly this shouldn't be on this list. it's actually one of the few nice things that happened today] Waha!
* Knowing i should be starving for skipping lunch but not feeling like i want to eat anything at all but i know i had to. Still, i ended up eating shawarma rice because it's the only thing decent available in the cafeteria...
* Walking despite the drizzle, the squishy putik and the eewy, smelly pathway to the hs court to watch the cheerdance competition.
* Finding out that i already missed my friends' performances and NOT feeling impressed or at least satisfied with any of the routines i've seen.
* Carrying a rather heavy paper bag with 4 moderately thick books in it...
* Sitting beside a smelly dude in the jeep
* Coming in a deserted home and finding a note saying, "magsaing ka!" afterwards...

I know, i am such a whiner. Hehe, I have to admit. Some things you can read on my list are not that troubling. Pero ganun talaga ako eh. Pero kahit naman reklamadora ako and no matter how often i bleat about the littlest things, i'm proud to say that i always manage to find happiness in simple things! [the irony, i know] Super dali ko rin mapasaya. For instance, one sweet smile can instantly brighten up my day! Hehe...
All in all, my rating for this day [10 being the highest] is 7! Not bad right? all because of one word from my loving parents: YES! Haha, pinayagan kasi ako mag-overnight kina babes! How nice! See? i told ya, simple things really make my day!
